CBPL Pony League Umpires- First, let me say thank you on behalf of the entire CBPL Board for the time and commitment you are making to the league by serving as an umpire; you are one of the reasons CBPL is so successful. Second, let me emphasize how important your undertaking is to the game, the league, the coaches and most importantly the little leaguers -- in the end it's all about the players and their development as ballplayers and as young adults. You set the tone for the entire game, what you do impacts the players, coaches and fans. As I have no doubt you will please be courteous, sincere, professional, confident and demonstrative.
