2007 1st half T-ball Rules

Make sure all the kids have fun!!!!!!!!

Everyone can play. Coach’s discretion

Pitcher must make the pitching motion

Offence may score 5 run per inning, last inning 10 runs – Umpire decision

If games ends in a tie the winner will be decided by the number of outs make by the team – Official use only to determine 2nd half schedule

If 3 out are made before 5 runs have scored the 1/2 inning is over

Pitcher must throw to 1st base, if pitcher gets the ball in or around

the pitcher circle. Outfield must throw the ball to the infield. Umpire judgment.

No player can play the same position for more than 2 consecutive innings

Safety balls will be used for the 1st half and ball must pass the foul line to be in play

All play stops once the defense controls the runners or umpire call “time out”

Out field must be at least 15 feet back from base lines

Runners can advance one base on an overthrow to 1st base

Protective gear must be worn at all times

No More than 2 Coaches are allowed on the field on defense (behind the infield).

On Offence 2 base coaches and a coach helping batter (tournament- only on offence)

Other baseball rules apply - Umpire Judgment.

Batted ball hitting a runner- Runner out - Dead Ball

Defensive Obstruction - Runner awarded 1 base

Offensive interference - Runner is out

Pitcher not on the rubber when the ball is hit. Runners advance at least 1 base on a hit ball

Dead Ball Territory - 1 base from the time of the hit

Missing bases - Runner is out 

Multiple runners on a base - If lead runner has not left the base the proceeding runner is out.
